Infyni Onboards 1300+ Instructors

01 Jan 2024

As of Dec 31, 2023 Infyni had onboarded 1304 instructors to teach various subjects from technology to sales and communication.

Over the years, Infyni has been interviewing and selecting instructors from across various industries. The process is rigorous. Interviews at Infyni are quite rigorous. Resumes are evaluated, practical skills are discussed before 2 rounds of face to face interviews either in person or virtually. Once the Onboarding team is satisfied, the instructors are requested to send in the curriculum for the course which is then discussed with the participants before they meet for a virtual demo. During the free trial participants learn more about the curriculum covered, learning outcomes and the schedule and pace of the classes. It is only after both instructors and participants are satisfied that the course goes live on our website www.infyni.com

"We screen through hundreds of resumes to shortlist a handful of trainers," says Priyanka Mistry, who coordinates the Onboarding process. "In a week we onboard anywhere between 5-7 instructors each," she explains, "and we try not to go too fast. An interview can extend to sometimes 2 hours as they demonstrate their skills to us."

This is the toughest but most satisfying part of what we do, says Mistry, who is also a yoga practitioner. With the intense kind of work we do, I find it important to balance mind and thought, she says.

As experts, trainers have much to share and without understanding the full scope of their instructional methods and pedagogy it would be unfair to both parties. Not just academics we also listen for fluency, simplicity in conveying the subject matter and attitude. The last one is the most critical.

More than what the subject teaches, is HOW the subject is taught. You can find several classes in Databricks if you run a google search. Ours is a curriculum that uniquely blends theory with practical skills, trends noted at work along with experience that the trainer brings to the class.

Over the years we have also managed to find several high quality veterans who have wanted to share their knowledge on our platform. "I feel we are fortunate in coming across such good talent," says Mistry, "I meet with my team mates at the end of every week and we share our observations with the rest of Academic team mentioning any highlights from our discussion.  ~
