Infyni’s Chess Student Wins Chess Championship

17 Dec 2023

In last week’s Swiss Chess Championship, Infyni’s chess student Sai Pranav Kalla walked away with the first prize. The tournament, held by the North Texas Chess Academy in Dec 2023, saw 9-year-old Kalla play four consecutive rounds against opponents young and old.

Kalla has been taking intensive chess classes with Infyny’s Chess Master Sandeep Gupta for about 2 years.

“I used to coach him when he was very young,” said Kalla’s father Mr. Sankar Kalla who is himself a chess maverick. “But I felt the need for a professional to coach my son.”

Infyni conducts live training in chess for kids as young as 5 years old. These classes taken twice a week trains students live in strategic moves and tactics.

“You can see a difference in their games as early as 3 months,” says Instructor Gupta.

Infyni’s classes include assignments, and matches held frequently between teams, internally. Kalla will now be playing with senior students from Chess for Advanced Players.

Without a challenge it is difficult to improve your game, says Gupta.

Infyni offers chess classes for all levels from Absolute Beginners to Intermediate and Advanced Players. You can enroll as part of a group or for 1-1 private coaching
